Learn Basic Rules of Blackjack

// //
First of all, you must know that all blackjack games have the same basic rules. However, several variations exist, which must imperatively be taken into account before starting any type of game. The rule common to all blackjack variations is that the goal which all players must achieve is to get cards the sum of which is 21, or nearest to it, without exceeding it.
You must always keep in mind that when a player or the dealer display cards of a total value above 21 (which is called 'busting'), then the player has lost. If you get 21 with an ace and a 10, it is called a 'blackjack'. You must know that a value of 10 can be obtained not only with a 10 but also with any court-card. The ace can have different values depending on whether you play a 'soft hand' or a 'hard hand'. In the first case, it takes the value the player wants to attribute it. In the second case, the ace has a fixed value that cannot be changed.
Variations of Black Jack
A hit is to ask for another card. The player can ask one as long as they have not reached 21. If you opt for a stand, you do not get another card in order to get a higher score than the dealer.
To double down means the player thinks they need only one card in order to beat the dealer. In that case, they double the bet and ask for a single other card. A split is an option when a player gets two similar cards. Those cards can be split into two distinct hands. It must be underlined that, in that case, they must bet as much on the second as on the first hand.
There are variations of Blackjack in which the player is allowed to surrender, that is, not to play the hand once they have seen the first two cards. Once they know their game, they can leave half their bet and their cards if they think they cannot win the hand.
